Good practice last night.  Recapped my weekend & the Rush show before delving into "band stuff".  The drummer I mentioned yesterday is too busy - so much for that.  Eh, we'll get one.  The talk amongst the band is to have the demo available for the show next week, free copies.  Now, I just have to finish it!  I will.

We wrote up the setlist for the show and ran through it twice.  Going to try the "extended intro" on 10K and I'll attempt the solo on guitar as well.  Should be interesting!  We settled into the groove quite nicely and I thought everything sounded good.  I need some work on various parts, but that's nothing that can't be fixed in the next week.  I think The Storm sounded especially good and something seemed to click on a deeper level last night for both of us.

We further discussed venue stuff and really hitting it once the demo is done.  We're in a good place right now.  Also discussed revamping of websites & if myspace will work properly for me today, I'll get started on that.  Also we agreed that this journal would no longer be private, so everyone will be able to read this crap!  Whee!
