I thought we had a good practice last night.  I played Jenn what's recorded for Surrounded and she liked it a lot - hopefully I'll have time tonight to work on my vocals and maybe do some mixing.  She showed me what she's been working on with Insurrection.  Lyrics are really good and I can't wait to start working on this song.  Hell, I've been wanting to play it since she first showed it to me years ago.

Besides the usual catching up, the rest of the time was spent running through the set and re-familiarizing ourselves with it, as we haven't played together since the B&N gig over a month ago.  Everything sounded pretty good, even Matte Kudasai was pleasing.  At one point when Jenn had to step out for a minute I played through Sunday Brunch and I was really happy playing it.  I can't wait to get that one in the set.
