After 2 weeks off it was nice to have the band "working" again.  I had the idea of working on new material instead of the usual running though songs.  We did discuss a song I wrote a couple of months ago, In Our Own Minds (lyrics only) and since that's a political song it naturally led to a large political discussion...which then led to talking about everything else in the world.  So, we didn't get much done!  That's alright though, I love the times when we can just hang out and talk.  I did play Jenn my sorta rough mix of Abused's and she liked it.  Of course, hearing it on the speakers, instead of through headphones, it didn't sound so hot to me.  We'll see how it goes.  Next week's practice is canceled as I'll be in Mexico for a wedding.  Should be fun!
