More work on Surrounded.  Got some good work done last night.  Somehow, my voice was present so I was able to record all of my vocals (yay!) and they didn't sound too terrible.  After that extravaganza  I went to work on mixing the individual instruments.  Started with the drums (of course) and had a similar problem to what I had on Abused's Song - most of the drumming was too quiet, but the snare hits were too loud.  So yeah, lots of editing of snare drum hits in the pre-choruses.  It's an annoying process, but I'm really particular and I really like Josh's drum part and want it to stand out.

After a dinner break w/ Brooke & Travis I came back and got through the guitar and bass.  Since the bass is a new instrument for this song, I'm a bit apprehensive about having it too loud, so I was sure to have it quieter than I usually would.  It's true that I was mixing the bass at 11:30 at night and I was tired as shit, so it might sound bad.  I'll check it when I get home and then I'm going to bust my ass to get the vocals mixed before Jenn gets in for practice.  I'm still a bit unsure of how the track sounds, but everything indicates that I'll eventually be happy with it.
